This Mimico Creek 150 year old home was hiding secrets in its basement. The family who lives there dug them up.

Many layers of Indigenous and settler activity and building are hidden in the foundations. “(The owner) Vito Vaccarelli stresses that archeology is not treasure hunting. There is little monetary value to the items he has found. He hopes to find them a good home at a local heritage site. Their true value, he says, is in the stories they tell.”
